Most of the time, chipping up means grinding your way up. In a hand at table two, Pan Zhan Kun raised t0 300 and was called by four players. At the flop of Q♥ 3♣ K♥, action checked to Kun who bet 550. He was called by two players and the dealer felted 9♥ on fourth street. Kun was given the go ahead to bet again and he checked along with the others. On the river of 5♥, Kun bet 1200 and that was all it took as he won the pot without any more callers.

Action kicked off with the utg player raising to 600, three-bet to 1800 by Gopez, four-bet by the utg, a shove by Gopez, then called by the utg for his tournament life. Intense betting at table one with Gerald Casey deep in the action against Kunal Patni. On a board of J♣ 7♥ 5♦ Q♣, both players engaged in a series of raises until Casey decided to end it with an all in. Patni called and it was a showdown with Patni holding 5♣ 5♥ set but was sorely behind Casey’s 7♣ 7♦. The river of J♦ was no help to Patni and he busted out while Casey escalated to around 47K.
Sometimes muscling with all your chips is the way to end the hand and take the pot. In a hand that we caught at A♣ 4♠ 2♠ 6♥, the pot had already swelled to 4000 and Gerald Casey was looking to pump it up by betting 2600. His opponent at the cutoff seat called him and the river of A♦ was dealt. Casey checked, his opponent bet 5100, Casey check-raised, something we saw from him earlier, and was awarded the pot after the cutoff folded.
Edilberto Gopez claimed himself a pot of around 5000 when his A♥ 10♠ landed a straight on a board of A♣ 7♠ 8♥ 9♦ 6♥. He now has around 25k.
