Acting first, Hwan led out for 950 while Simba raised it to 2000. Hwan called and the dealer laid out a Q♣ for the turn. Hwan checked to Simba who continued with his betting routine and laid out 2200. Hwan gave it up and Simba won a nice pot.

Changing gears, Leonarez led out for 10k and Hwan called. Leonarez had a straight with his J♥ 8♥ but Hwan had a full house with his 9♠ 10♠. Leonarez’s stack took a hit and is now slightly below starting stack.
On a board of Q♦ 10♥ 5♦ J♥ and a pot of 10k in the middle, a player on the big blind seat shoved with 23k chips and after tanking, Jeremy Giam decided to made the big call. The bb player had K♦ 2♦ for a straight draw and a flush draw. Giam had Q♥ J♠ for two pairs. With the river landing a 10♠, Giam’s hand stayed on top while he eliminated one in the process.
Gerald Casey is one of the chip leaders so far and has earned himself another pot, this time against Kunal Patni. Patni busted out earlier against Casey in a set over set situation. Patni re-entered, only to land back at the same table against Casey. Catching the action on a completed board of 2♥ 3♠ 3♥ 9♦ 8♥, Casey bet 12k into a pot of just slightly under. Patni took time to decide then folded instead. Casey showed his A♥ 5♥ nut flush.
Arvin Palmero’s day at the Main Event felt ended at the hands ofRalph Kanai. Palmero had a very short stack and moved all in with A♥ Q♠ but unlucky for him, Kanai had A♦ A♠. The board offered no help to Palmero and he was eliminated.
