Leonarez folds to Simba

Shortly after the tables merged, Sim Jae Kyung aka Simba three-bet a raise from 700 to make it 2700. One of the newly moved players at the table, Jessie Leonarez, on the small blind called but the initial raiser opted to fold. On the flop of 6 9 K, Leonarez checked to Simba who bet 3100. Leonarez raised to 10,100 and Simba flat-called. At the turn of 9, both checked for a free river card of Q. Leonarez checked again, Simba bet 8000, and Leonarez folded.

 


Big shove from Sapitavicius gets the call

Arunas Sapitavicius went over the top of a 3600 bet and shoved his 30k stack in the middle on a board displaying 2 A 4 10 J. The bettor tanked for sometime but eventually called. Sapitavicius won the hand with his J J set.


Quads for Vytautas

Level: 6 Blinds: 150-300 Ante: 25

Trifie Montebon could only share everyone’s sentiment at the table when Vytautas Laurinaitis won a sizable pot against him with quads. During the hand, Montebon bet 1700 on a board of 6 8 J. Vytautas raised to 4250, and Montebon called. At the turn of 6, both stayed cool and checked. On the river of 2, Montebon checked again, Vytautas bet 3600, and seeing that it was a decent value bet, Montebon called. Montebon quickly mucked when he saw Vytautas 6 6 quads.


Yogo rails one

Level: 6 Blinds: 150-300 Ante: 25

Iori Yogo and a player in mid position had a bravado moment with neither player willing to lose the preflop raise war. In the end, they were both all in and Yogo had the better with pocket aces against pocket jacks. Yogo went on to win the hand and dusted one to the rail.


Ozawa goes up, Delos Reyes spirals down

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

Regie Ann Delos Reyes was in a heated battle for a heavy-weight pot against Kotaro Ozawa with the board of 3 2 4 8 displayed on the center of the felt. Ozawa bet 3100, Delos Reyes raised to 9500, Ozawa moved all in, and Delos Reyes chose to call. Delos Reyes had A Q while Ozawa had A 4. The river of 9 did not improve Delos Reyes hand and she doubled up Ozawa to around 45k. She dropped to 11K.


A double up for Tjokro

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

With a board showing J 9 7, action was quick with all in and a call between two players, Will Tjokro and a mid position player. Tjokro had 9 9 and the other had Q J. With the turn of Q, Tjokro was still ahead with his set but his opponent had improved to top two pairs. With the river of 2, Tjokro’s stayed on top and shipped in a double up.

 


Saito earns a pot with queens

Jun Saito and the utg player were in a raised pot preflop and watched the dealer spread 4 5 7 on the felt. Acting first, the utg player bet 1500, Saito raised to 3500, and the utg folded giving Saito the pot. He kindly showed his pocket queens.

 


Leonarez unfazed by the raise war

Jessie Leonarez continues to challenge players for the pot and finding much success. In one hand, he raised to 650 preflop, called by Kevin Nettles, was three-bet to 1700 by Gopez, then retaliating with a four-bet to 6675 by Leonarez. Nettles called but surprisingly Gopez folded. the flop ran A K 9, Leonarez continued and laid out a 7000 bet but this time, no call as Nettles folded.

 


Adding more to the stack for Huerto

Joven Huerto earns himself a pot after betting as much as what was in it. On a board of 3 10 5[qs} A, the big blind player checked to Huerto who bet the pot of 3000. That was it, it was his. More chips for Huerto to add to his growing arsenal.
