Not happy with his loss to Peter Nguyen, Tien Pham entered another big pot with Nguyen that began with a raise by Nguyen in late position and called by both blinds, Pham and Michael Mariakis. Level: 13 Blinds: 800-1600 Ante: 200

No matter where he sits, Peter Nguyen is ready to play some poker, ready to take your chips. With his growing stack, Nguyen continues to enter pots that cost balloon to a massive pile at the showdown. In one of those hands, Nguyen began with a re-raise to 15000 from under-the-gun, (we are uncertain what happened prior to that). He was called by David Steicke on the small blind seat. At the flop of 7 8 2, Steicke bet 18000 to which Nguyen responded with an all in. Steicke quickly folded.

San Mitsuta vs Wen Ling Gao

Level: 12 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 200

San Mitsuta and Wen Ling Gao seem to have it out for each other as both engaged in three separate pots. In the first meeting, Gao was all in with A-K against Mitsuta’s A-Q. With the board running blanks, Gao won and doubled up her short stack.

Not long after, they met again. Mitsuta’s J 5 losing to Gao’s A 5 nut flush on a board that ran Q 4 6 8 5. She doubled up again.

Then in a later hand, Mitsuta three-bet all in with his remaining 8900 and Gao called. Mitsuta had K J up against Gao’s 10 A. With the board running 6 6 Q 10 K, Mitsuta connected with a pair and retrieved some of his chips from Gao.
