No matter where he sits, Peter Nguyen is ready to play some poker, ready to take your chips. With his growing stack, Nguyen continues to enter pots that cost balloon to a massive pile at the showdown. In one of those hands, Nguyen began with a re-raise to 15000 from under-the-gun, (we are uncertain what happened prior to that). He was called by David Steicke on the small blind seat. At the flop of 7♦ 8♠ 2♣, Steicke bet 18000 to which Nguyen responded with an all in. Steicke quickly folded.
Nguyen won an even bigger pot when he got in a hand with Tien Pham. With a raised pot pre flop before them, a board ran 6♣ 2♥ 10♥. Nguyen bet 8200 into the pot, Pham called, and Steicke got out of the way. On the turn of J♠, betting continued to be heavy with Nguyen sending out 13600, and again, Pham smooth-called. Then on the river of 10♦, Nguyen laid out another big bet, this time 27000 worth of chips. Pham tank-called. Nguyen won the pot with his A♠ 10♠ trips. Pham showed J♥.
