Not long after, they met again. Mitsuta’s J♣ 5♣ losing to Gao’s A♥ 5♥ nut flush on a board that ran Q♥ 4♣ 6♥ 8♥ 5♦. She doubled up again.
Then in a later hand, Mitsuta three-bet all in with his remaining 8900 and Gao called. Mitsuta had K♥ J♦ up against Gao’s 10♦ A♣. With the board running 6♣ 6♠ Q♦ 10♣ K♣, Mitsuta connected with a pair and retrieved some of his chips from Gao.
