Yohwan Lim was already nursing a short stack and fell even further after doubling up Yunsheng Sun. Lim had A-K and Sun with Q-Q. The board ran dry for Lim. He dropped to 14k then was eliminated shortly after.
Victor Chong and Terry Tang Tian Yuan went head-to-head for two consecutive pots. The first one saw Chong raise to 10k from the small blind and Tang defending on the bb. At the flop Q♣ A♣ 8♣, Chong bet 15k and won it with a fold from Tang.
Next hand saw Chong raise to 8k on the button and Tang three-bet to 26k from the sb seat. Chong called. At the flop 7♥ 10♥ J♦, it was checked for a free turn 10♠. Tang checked again, Chong fired out 20k, and Tang flat-called. On the Q♦ river, no bets from either and Tang won it with his 8-8.
Big lay down here… Varun Gupta raised to 7500, Zarvan Tumboli three-bet to 18k, then Kahle Burns four-bet to 38.5k. After action folded around the felt and back to Gupta, he folded, and half a minute after, Tumboli folded while showing his J-J. Burns returned the gesture and showed Q-Q.
Albert Paik got involved in two pots back-to-back with the first one costing him against Victor Chong. On a board of J♠ K♥ Q♣ 6♦ 8♥ with progressive betting, Chong shoved and Paik tanked. It took him a couple of minutes to decide then opted to lay it down. Chong scooped up a 57k pot.
The next hand Paik three-bet all in and initial raiser Parvain Jain called while putting himself at risk of elimination.

Another player has jumped into the 300k range, Michael Soyza. We only caught it at the shipping with Je Ho Lee walking away. According to reports, Lee had A-A and Soyza with J-J. A jack joined in on board for a set. We will try and get the full action during the next break.
Kahle Burns shipped in a a few nice looking pots and may now be the chip leader with around 340k. On one of the bigger ones, a huge pile was brewed preflop and the board showed 8♣ J♥ 5♥. Sb Zarvan Tumboli bet 36k and bb Burns called. On the A♥ turn no bets came but on the river 3♥, Burns moved all in after Tumboli checked and won it with his opponent folding.
Burns picked up another pot with his nut flush getting some pay off Fan Kai Yang. It was an all hearts affair on the board with both king and queen in rank. Burns had A♥ J♠.
On a five-way limped pot, the flop spread J♥ Q♠ 10♣. As action moved around the orbit, everyone checked. On the 7♦ turn, sb Gao Wenling led for 5k and everyone folded except the button Michael Soyza. On the 5♠ river, she moved all in and claimed the pot with no challenge from Soyza.
Justin Chan Pak Kwan has just crossed the 300k mark. One of the hands that helped him get there was the elimination of Ryota Kubo. The short stacked Kubo had just doubled up when he got it all in again. His Q-4 was no good against Chan’s K-K.
With 18k in the pot and a flop of 7♣ 9♦ 7♥, sb Yunsheng Sun and bb Guo Dong checked to cutoff Ryuichi Utsunomiya. He bet 9k and got called by Sun. The turn 7♠ didn’t pump up the pot but the 6♦ river saw Sun take the reins and lead out with a 22.5k bet. This tanked Utsunomiya for about a minute then called. Sun mucked and Utsunomiya won it without having to show.
