Intense hand between Yang and Bevan

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

A pretty intense hand just ensued between Yi Tong Yang and Nark Anthony Bevan. During the hand both players were in a pre-flop raised pot to watch the board table Q A 2. Bevan led out for 500 and Yang flat-called. At the turn of 10, Bevan led for 1000 and Yang raised to 3000 which Bevan quick-called. Then on the river of 8, Bevan slowed down and checked but Yang went to the extremes and shoved. Bevan did not like that move and shook his head while folding.

Kiem rails Hope in the first 20 minutes

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

Peter Janghwan Kiem has quickly doubled up here at the Main Event after railing Anthony Joseph Hope just 20 minutes into the tournament. Catching the action at the flop of Q Q 7, and a raised pot pre flop, Joseph check-called Kiem’s bet of 1250 to see the turn card land 10. Again Hope checked to Kiem who sent out 2300 worth of chips, and Hope smooth-called once more. Then on the river of 7, Hope checked again, Kiem bet 7000 but instead of his usual call, Hope raised all-in and Kiem snap called. Kiem won the hand with his 7 7 quads against Hope’s Q 10 full house.
