We have already lost ten players today. Among them were Hung Sheng Lin and past APT champion Lim Yah Loon. One table has broken and were are at 71 players.


Battle of the blinds – Shinichiro Tone vs Le Ngoc Khanh

Level: 9 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 200

Past APT Main Event champion Shinichiro Tone went head-to-head against Le Ngoc Khanh with everyone folding to the blinds. Sb player Tone raised to 3K preflop and Khanh defended his big blind with a call. On the flop 8 K Q, both players checked. On the 6 turn, Tone led for 5K and Khanh was stuck with him. On the 10 river, Tone laid out another bet, this time worth 8k, and Khanh called. Tone won with his K 2 flush. Khanh mucked.


Nice hand for Andy Li Xueyan

Level: 19 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 200

Andy Li Xueyan raised to 2800 and was called by Andreand Flo Campomanes. At the flop of A A 8, everyone checked. At the 6 turn, action was checked to button player Andre who slid out a 4200 bet. Xueyan called. On the J river, no bets came and Xueyan won with his A Q trips.


Eugene Co eliminates Martin Corpuz

Level: 9 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 200

Eugene Co picked up a a couple of pots, both of them quite beefed up to bring his stack to around 180k. The first hand he faced Yuri Odagiri, calling her 25k flop bet on a board of 6 9 10. On the turn 3, Odagiri checked, Co moved all in, and Odagiri folded but not before tanking for some time.

The next pot for Co led to the elimination of Martin Corpuz. It was an all in showdown preflop with Corpuz holding J J and Co with A A. The board bricked.


Ram Farajash takes control of the table

Level: 9 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 200

The day’s entering chip leader, Ram Sanati Farajash is putting the heat on at his table. After winning two small pots with uncalled bets, he earned a bigger pot courtesy of Yuri Odagiri. The hand kicked off with Odagiri raising to 2400 and Farajash calling from the small blind.

At the flop of A 3 K, Odagiri continued with a 3200 bet and Farajash matched her up. On the 10 turn both players checked and got a free look at the river 5. Odagiri jumped out with a 12k bet, and Farajash called.

81 players battle it out as Day 2 begins!

Day 2 of the Main Event has kicked off! There are 81 players remaining out of the 132 entries. The total prize pool is USD 192,060 with first place earning the lion’s share USD 49,070. But for today, they won’t be seeing the money just yet. They will play down to the final 18 places 9- ITM – or eight rounds of sixty minutes each whichever is reached first.
