Mike Takayama got the better of Linh Tran in a previously reported hand but this time, things would be very different. With action folding all the way to the button, Takayama raised to 2100. Up next was sb player Linh Tran who three-bet to 6200. After the bb folded, Takayama moved all in with his 80k chips and without batting an eyelash, Tran quick-called. At the showdown, Takayama had 7♥ 5♦ while Tran opened up 8♠ 8♣. Players at the table were visibly stunned, not because Takayama shoved with a bluff but because Tran called the massive all in with a mid-tiered pair. With the board running 2♠ 4♦ 3♣ J♣ 3♠, Takayama was railed and Tran catapulted to the chip leader’s seat with over 200k.
