In the very first hand of the Final Table, Sahil Agarwal doubled up through Julius Malzanini in a pre-flop shove battle.
Agarwal: A♣ 9♣
Malzanini: 10♦ J♦
The flop K♠ 10♣ Q♦ gave Malzanini the lead and he Agarwal’s one foot was out the door with the turn 7♠.
Howver, the river J♠ landed giving the player from India the straight. Agarwal doubles up to around 190,000– the ideal start for a short stack in this final day.
All eight players who have made the APT Philippines 2015 Main Event Final Table are here.
We’re seconds away from tournament director Lloyd Fontillas’ traditional call-out of our finalists.
Here’s how they stack up against each other:
The big stacks:
Jojo Tech (Philippines) – 1.42M
Feng Zhao (Singapore) – 1.20M
Ha Duong (Vietnam) – 1.06M
Mid-sized stacks:
Yoichi Uesugi (Japan) – 549K
Julius Malzanini (Germany) – 439K
Ian Brion (Philippines) – 420K
Short stacks:
Flo Campomanes (Philippines) – 91K
Sahil Agarwal (India) – 83K
Can Flo and Sahil find that early double-up? Can Tech, Zhao and Duong hold on to those chips?
