From the cut-off, Tech opened with 43,000 and saw Zhao re-pop to 126,000. Tech three-bet to 248,000 and Zhao four-bet shoved!

“CALL!” Tech declares.

Tech: A A
Zhao: Q Q

Flop: K 10 2

Zhao shoved with 800,000 total and all of it is now with Tech, who now has around 2.5 million– roughly half the total chips in play.

Agarwal Steals Blinds and Antes Before Double-Up

Level: 24 Blinds: 10,000-20,000 Ante: 3000

Starting today with just 83,000– or the shortest stack among the final eight, Agarwal has recently doubled-up to around 440,000.

After a couple of shoves in earlier hands (where he successful stole the blinds/antes pre and post flop), the player from India shoved with J Q and was called by Uesugi, who had pocket fours.

Agarwal got his over-card right on the window of the flop J 10 3 and turn 9 and river 6 gave him his double-up. Eusugi drops to around 250,000.

Worst Time to Steal For Zhao as Malzanini Big Blind Special KK

Level: 24 Blinds: 10,000-20,000 Ante: 3000

From the small blind, Zhao tried to steal Malzanini’s big blind plus the antes.

Bad idea for the Singaporean as the German snap-called with K K. Zhao tabled the weak 9 8.

Dealer boards K 5 5 and Zhao’s drawing dead. Malzanini climbs to over 700,000 after this win while Zhao drops to around 850,000.

Check-Calls, Check-Folds from Uesugi vs. Tech

Level: 24 Blinds: 10,000-20,000 Ante: 3000

Yoichi Uesugi limped into the pot from the small blind and Tech added 22,000 more from the big blind.

Flop: 10 2 6

Uesugi check-raised Tech’s 20,000 bet to 60,000 and Tech called.

Turn: 10

This time, Uesugi check-folded on Tech’s 45,000 bet.

Duong Re-Pops Malzanini, Who Folds

Malzanini bet 32,000 pre-flop but faced a 74,000 raise from Duong. Malzanini doesn’t want to get involved anymore and gives up the pot.

Malzanini Gets Some Off Agarwal

From the cutoff, Malzanini opened with 32,000 and got a call from big blind Agarwal, who recently doubled-up.

Flop shows J Q 9 and both checked their options. Turn 5 and the players did the same. On the river 9, it was Malzanini who led out with 19,000— enough to force the fold from the player from India.

Malzanini wins the pot. Agarwal falls a bit to around 160,000.

Duong Tries Against Tech, Fails

From mid-position, Jojo Tech opened with 46,000 and had a call from Ha Duong.

Both checked the flop 2 8 5 while Duong bet 48,000 on the turn 9. Tech called.

Duong bet another 78,000 on the river 6 and Tech called again.

Duong: K 6
Tech: K 9

Tech wins the pot and adds more to his big stack.

Filipino Ousts Filipino: No Double for Campomanes Against Brion, First Out in FT (8th Place – $12,300)

Level: 23 Blinds: 8000-16000 Ante: 2000

Flo Campomanes  moved all in for less than 90,000 from the small blind but Ian Brion was adamant in defending his big blind for a pre-flop all-in showdown!

Flo: A 7
Brion: 10 8

Flo loves the flop 9 3Kd} but hates the turn 10. The river 6 arrived and Flo is officially our first bust-out in the final table.

Brion now has around 490,000 while Campomanes ends up in 8th place of the M.E. for $12,300.

Zhao Re-Pops Brion, Who Folds

Brion tanked and folded his hand.
