Anh Do Over Acfalle Sr. (Again!)

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

A hand after his stack got hit big time by Hoang Anh Do, Franklin M. Acfalle Sr. suffered a big loss again– against Anh Do!

Pre-flop, Acfalle Sr. from the hi-jack opened to 900 and saw Anh Do re-pop to 8,300. Acfalle Sr. called.

Flop: 6 Q 6

Anh Do wants this pot badly opening for 15,000!

Acfalle was scared off the pot and folded his hand.

Anh Do Beats Acfalle Sr. Big Time

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

On a board of 5 3 7 K Hoang Anh Do bet 6,000 and was called by Franklin M. Acfalle Sr. On the river 9, Anh Do fired another big one– 11,000 but Acfalle Sr. wasn’t going away and called. Too bad because Anh Do had 3 3 and Acfalle Sr.’s big slick and had a busted flush draw ( A K).

Acfalle Sr. Making Noise Too

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

Like Frank Acfalle Jr., the elder Acfalle, Franklin M. is playing well at this point too. On a flop of 7 6 5 a mid-position player bet 3,000 but saw the big blind shove! Franklin was a willing customer too; flat-calling the all-in for a three-way action.

All three checked the turn 7 but Franklin fired 11,500 on the river Q forcing the MP player to fold.

Franklin: Q Q
BB Player: 7 9

In hindsight, the turn was bad for Franklin but the river scooped him this pot and eliminated a player from Day 1C.

Chang Chips Up

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

Carlos Chang initiated the betting pre-flop with 450 and saw the player from the hi-jack make the call.

Chang check-calls the flop 5 A 4 for 1,050 even as both players checked the turn 5. On the river 9, Chang led out for 2,050 and got his opponent to fold. Chang was the first played eliminated from Day 1B yesterday and easily, it looks like he’s playing way better today.

Drilon Gets a Few

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

On a four-way pot of a flop 4 7 6, Jose Drilon fired 700 and saw the cut-off player and Feng Zhao call. On the turn 6, Drilon initiated again with a bigger 1,200 bet. Enough to force the fold from Zhao and the CO player.

Bringley Wins Some

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

With four limpers in the pot of a flop A 8 10, action slowed down to a crawl as the same four checked their options. However, Gerard Bringley took a stab at the pot with a 350 bet on the turn A with only one player calling. The river 2 landed and was checked by both players.

Bringley showed Q 10 and his opponent had only 8 7.

Acfalle Jr.’s Top Pair is Good

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

A player from the hi-jack opened to 800 and had 3 callers including Frank Acfalle Jr. (Note:we also have the elder Acfalle, Franklin M. playing in Day 1C).

All four players checked the flop K 9 8 to bring the turn 7. Acfalle Jr. led out for 1,200 and both the hi-jack and button players called. All three checked the river 5.

Acfalle showed K Q for top pair and both opponents mucked their hands.
