APT Philippines 2015

Ideal Start: Agarwal Doubles Through Malzanini in First Hand of Final Table

Level: 23 Blinds: 8000-16000 Ante: 2000

In the very first hand of the Final Table, Sahil Agarwal doubled up through Julius Malzanini in a pre-flop shove battle.

Agarwal: A 9
Malzanini: 10 J

The flop K 10 Q gave Malzanini the lead and he Agarwal’s one foot was out the door with the turn 7.

Howver, the river J landed giving the player from India the straight. Agarwal doubles up to around 190,000– the ideal start for a short stack in this final day.
