Peng Fei Liu vs Shravan Chhabria

Peng fei Liu is doing very well managing his massive stack. He seems to be on fire once again as he just picked up a few wins in a row. On one of those scoops, he faced Shravan Chhabria. The board was 2 J 3, Chhabria bet 5800, Peng raised to 12k, and Chhabria called. On the Q turn both checked and the dealer felted a 10 on the river. Peng bet 17k and won it with Chhabria giving up his challenge for the pot.


Xu Dong Hui gains some off Nishant Sharma

On a flop of 2 Q 9, Xu Dong Hui, Nishant Sharma, and another player checked it to get a free turn A. Unlike the flop, this initiated some betting with Hui checking, Sharma betting 7k, one fold, then Hui with the flat call. On the A river, Hui checked again, Sharma gave it a go with a 11.1k bet but then faced a raise to 25k from Hui. Sharma called. Hui showed his K 10 nut flush.


Yang Song wins preflop war then busts

The day’s entering chip leader has fallen. After Yang Song lost a majority of his stack to Saul Oliver, he has been sitting on a stack that needs a major boost. He picked up some chips in this hand against Song Zhenyu. Yang limped in, Michael Soyza called, Zhenyu raised to 13.5k, Yang went all in, and no callers.

However, several hands later, these two went head to head again and this time Zhenyu closed the door on Yang.


Thomas Ward doubled up by Hirosaka

Shortly after Keisuke Hirosaka doubled up, he lost some of those chips to Thomas Ward. Action started with a raise by Alok Birewar to 6k, HIrosaka called, Ward moved all in for 31.4k, initial raiser Birewar folded, and Hirosaka called.

The board ran 5 J 9 5 A for a wining two pair to Ward and a double up.


Vinod Megalmani saved by the board

Vinod Megalmani put all his chips at risk against Saul Oliver for a preflop showdown.

The board spread 3 5 2 4 6 giving both players a straight. Megalmani avoided elimination.


Keisuke Hirosaka triples up, Huidong Gu eliminated

In a three-way preflop raise war, two players eventually got all their chips in the middle with Wang Ye making the call.

The board ran Q 10 J 8 J for a triple up to 100k for Hirosaka, side pot to Ye, and Gu out of the running. Ye now up to 230k.


Jaydeep Dawer doubled up by fellow Indian Tumboli

Jaydeep Dawer just put a stop to Zurvan Tumboli’s rule at the table. Dawer was all in with pocket kings and Tumboli had pocket queens. The board bricked and Dawer doubled up his short stack.


Zurvan Tumboli crosses 500k

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Ever since Zurvan Tumboli was moved to a new table, he has been causing exerting some muscle to pick up some pots. On one hand, the board showed 8 6 A 2, he checked, a mid position player bet 15.8k, and Tumboli called. On the K river, Tumboli laid out 38k big ones and won it without a challenge.

Several hands later, he was in another action hand. On a flop of 2 4 A and a massive pot brewing in the middle, Tumboli bet 17.5k, Qin Chen called, Charles Hoi Wong raised to 36.2k, Tumboli called, but Chen jammed to make it 103,400. Much too much, Wong folded while Tumboli called.

The turn 3 improved Tumboli to a straight and with the 10 river, he secured the win and Chen was eliminated.

Tumboli looks like he is the current chip leader with over 500k in chips.
