Albert Paik 760,000
Yuki Ko 692,000
Andy Li Xueyan 646,000
Jinwoo Kim 635,000
Taehoon Han 576,000
Congratulations to all the players making it through Day 2!
The poker floor erupted immediately after Kazuto Sato delivered the bubble by eliminating Hyatt in 28th place. The action saw Sato raise to 15k followed by Hyatt moving all in with 110k. Sato snap-called and instantly revealed his nuts hole cards A♣ A♦. Hyatt turned over Q♠ Q♥. The board was not as dramatic as the moment, running blanks for Hyatt and the bubble burst signaling the end of the day.
A wild hand just came slapping down at table 2 with Andy Li Xueyan getting the win and Gen Nose painfully burned out of the running. The hand kicked off with Nose raising to 15k, big-stacked Xueyan three-betting to 42k, Nose four-betting to 100k, Xueyan shoving, and Nose risking it all.
此役Gen Nose加注至一万五,Andy Li Xueyan 3-bet只42k, Nose随即4-bet至十万,Andy以all in回应,Nose倾尽所有跟进;
Xueyan 4♦ 5♥
Nose J♥ J♣
Here comes the crazy part… the flop ran 5♣ J♥ 2♣ for a dominating set to Nose. The turn 5♠ improved Xueyan to trips but Nose now had a commanding full house. But then it happened, a sick 5♦ on the river for quads to Xueyan. Nose could only take a pic to remember the moment that burned him as he walked off empty handed.
翻牌圈 5♣ J♥ 2♣,Nose达成三条,转牌 5♠让Andy达成低位三条的同时也成就了Nose的满堂红,不过河牌 5♦落定,Andy命中四条,Nose只得空手而归,拍照留念。
We are now down to the bubble with 28 players remaining.
现时场上还剩28名选手
In the crucial moments before the bubble round, gaining chips is practically a must for the short stacks. In this hand, Paphawin Laodee did just that with his A-J doubling up through Iori Yogo with K-Q. The board ran A-3-A-2-2 for a glorious full house to the Thailander. Yogo dropped to an ailing 65k.
Lei Ji Chong has some good bust outs and good pots to remember his experience at the Main Event however he fell short of the money round after getting the boot by Kitauchi Yoshihiro. It was an all in extravaganza preflop.
Chong K♣ Q♣
Yoshihiro A♥ K♥
Even if Yoshihiro was already ahead, the board improved him further to a nut flush as it spread 7♥ 5♣ 4♥ 9♥ 5♠.
There are 31 players remaining which means we are nearing the bubble with only 27 players into the money round. Blinds have gone up and the 500 pink chip has been removed from play.
Level 16 has begun and with it came some early shoves with one casualty. Aya Kagawa three-bet shove with 106k and was up against Gen Nose who had 80k. Nose won the double up with his K-Q on a board of 5-2-8-K-10 to overtake Kagawa’s 4-4. Kagawa dropped way down to 26k and busted out a few hands after.
Yuichi Sumida also doubled up but we didn’t see who paid him off. He had pocket sevens that found a triplet on the river.
30 players left.
With action folding all the way to the small blind player Takato Ariake, he moved all in and a few seconds after, Nekrasov Evgenii joined his with less chips.
Ariake 9♠ 9♣
Evgenii K♦ 10♦
The board ran J♠ 8♠ A♥ 2♠ Q♠ for a winning flush to Ariake. Evgenii was eliminated.
Junichi Nakagiri was in 3-way raised pot with a flop of J♣ 6♥ 4♣ spread out. Yoichi Uesugi bet 13k, Nakagiri moved all in, Tang Jia called, and Uesugi opted to get out of the way.
Jia J♥ 4♥
Nakagiri A♣ A♠
The turn 8♠ and river 3♣ were no help to Nakagiri and he was eliminated by Jia’s two pair.
Gerald Keener has been short stacked for the past few rounds and though he found a way to double up, he still wasn’t able to hold on to it. He fell at the hands of Yuki Ko with A-K besting Q-10. As a token gesture, Keener told Ko that he intended to give his token gold card protector to the player who eliminated him. Ko kindly accepted the token. He is now up to 680k.
