Go Harada has just been booted out of the main and it happened in two hits, one by Jinwoo Kim and the other coming from Tang Jia.
The first hand Harada lost nearly 140k of his chips to Kim with betting all the way to the river. Kim showed K♣ K♠ on a board of 7♥ 2♣ 7♦ 8♥ 7♠ and Harada mucked.
The hand that sent him out was A-Q falling to Tang’s A-K.
Tanaka Masatoshi met his end at the hands of Kitauchi Yoshihoro with his 6-6 unable to improve against 7-7.
Genki Nakano dealt a painful blow to Wasin Siriratana with his A♣ 9♣ landing a nut flush on the board to overtake 10♦ 10♠. The hand saw both players all in preflop. The board drew out 3♥ J♥ 7♣ 8♣ J♣. Siriratana fell to 10.1k and Nakano doubled up to 130k.
Action began with the utg player Go Harada raising to 4800 preflop then getting called by both Lei Ji Chong and Yoichi Uesugi. At the flop of A♦ K♥ 8♥, Uesugi checked, so did the raiser Harada, while Chong bet 8400. Uesugi got out of the way and Harada paid up to see the turn 10♠. At this time both players checked and the free river came 7♣. Acting first, Harada led out with a 16k bet and Chong flat-called.
Harada A♥ 9♦
Chong K♦ 7♦ two pair
Due to the numerous eliminations, some of the players now shuffled into different tables. Hyatt is at table 5, moved from table 10, where we found him in a hand against Takato Ariake. On a turn board of 9♠ 8♦ 4♦ A♠, Hyatt bet 16k but got popped to 55k by Ariake. Hyatt opted to give up the fight and Ariake shipped it.
We haven’t caught much action from Yuki Ko however we did manage to get a quick look at his latest win. He bet 27k on a board of 9♦ 10♣ 9♣ Q♠ 5♦ and Scott Janik made the call. Ko turned over 9♥ 7♥ for trips and the pot. He increased to 245k.
Youngsoo Kim was the next player to take some chips off Noda Hiroyuki and this time, he got enough to see Hiroyuki leave the table on the next hand. Kim had 7-7, Hiroyuki with A-K, and the board ran blanks.
Two past APT champions went head-to-head for this pot. It began with everyone folding to the button Hisashi Ogi. He raised to 5500 and was called by Iori Yogo and Tanaka Masatoshi. ON the flop of 4♣ 7♦ 3♠, Yogo jumped out with a 9k bet which Masatoshi turned down leaving Ogi to take up the challenge. Ogi did and the turn was felted 4♦. Yogo continued to boost the pot tossing in a bet of 13.5K and once again Ogi flat-called. On the J♣ river, Yogo slowed with a check, Ogi took the reins and fired out 40k, and Yogo called. Ogi won with his 3♦ 3♣ full house.
Ogi increased to 240k, Yogo dropped to 145k.
Andy Li Xueyan is now the leader at his table with over 300K in chips. He recently won a pot against Noda Hiroyuki with A-6 two pair to drive his stack above that mark.
