Making our way to the far end of the room, we witnessed Hoon Jung and Albert Paik on a tango. Jung raised to 7500, Paik three-bet to 16k, Jung four-bet to 36k, and Paik moved all in. Hung folded.
Yoichi Uesugi has been fairly steady all day going up and down but still within close range of the average stack. He recently got involved in a hand against Lei Ji Chong, one of the bigger stacks at his table. In the completion, Uesugi was able to get some pay off Chong for his Q-10 straight on a board of 2-J-9-5-8, ensuring a sizable pot with progressive bets at every stage. He is now up to 260k.
We’ve been trying to get a hand on Nekrasov Evgenii who has been sitting between 200k-240k all day. We’ve been unsuccessful as his stack has not moved much, just staying in that range. One hand that we did record was a win against Shimooka Yuichiro for a small pot. The hand kicked off Evgenii raising to 8500 and getting the call from Yuichiro. At the flop of Q♠ 3♠ 4♣, Yuichiro checked, Eugenii bet 11.5k, then won it without a challenge.
Big stacks face off for the pot in this hand though not much dent to either, just a small amount of chips moving from one stack to another. Still, it was a moment seeing big stacks Taehoon Han and Jeremy Graves one-on-one.
Graves raised to 8500 and Han defended his big blind. The flop ran 3♠ 7♣ 4♣, Garves bet 10k and Han check-called. On the 2♠ turn and Q♥ river, no bets came and Graves won with his K-7 pair over Han’s A-4 lower pair.
Like Jinwoo Kim, chip leader Bi Qiang is also very active at his table. He eliminated one of the remaining women in the field, Chise, then lost some to Masato Shimizu who shoved with 8-8 and won against Qiang’s J-8. Qiang quickly made up some of the lost chips by taking down a small pot onthe next hand. He is still the leader with 600k.
Jinwoo Kim is picking up the most amount of pots at his table during this new round. He first eliminated Chen I Wei, cracking pocket aces with his pocket queens with crazy flush.
He entered the next hand that saw Lei Ji Chong raise4500 prelop which both him and Junichi Nakagiri called. At the flop of K♠ 10♥ A♠ and 5♦ turn, everyone checked. but on the 9♠ river, Chong bet 8500, Nakagiri folded, and Kim called. Chong and Kim split the pot with both holding K-J.
The next two pots went to Kim. He called an all in with his A♣ 9♦ and stayed ahead of K-J to win the pot and boot one out. Kim is now over 550k in chips.
We are down to 50 players at the Main Event. Bi Qiang and Jeremy Graves are the current front runners. Past APT Main Event champion Choong Kian Weng was eliminated in the previous round while Hisashi Ogi and Iori Yogo are at average stacks.
Jeremy Graves shared his recent takedown with us. He was in a three-way pot holding 8-6 and on the flop of 10-9-7, he landed the second nuts. A betting round ensued which saw one player leave the heat while the other continued to the turn with Graves. Fourthstreet spiked an Ace which was a good card for Graves. His opponent was soon all in and all out as well upon realizing his A-Q was drawing dead.
Graves took several hits to his stack earlier in the day but has worked his way back up and is now sitting with around 450k. He is running second in chips to Bo Qiang.
Bi Qiang has just jumped into a massive lead to 560k. It was a wild hand that we caught on the flop of K♣ 9♣ 7♠. Acting first was Mitusuru Sano who laid out a bet, Qiang called, then Kenji Kurashina shoved with 70.9k. Sano called it only to see Qiang shove as well but with a huge stack of 239.9k. Sano eventually called.
此役翻牌圈 K♣ 9♣ 7♠,Mitusuru Sano率先下注,Qiang跟进,Kenji Kurashima all in 70,9k, Sano跟进,Qiang随即all in, 在239,9k的重压下,Sano最终跟进;

The turn 10♦ and river 7♦ only improved Qiang further to a dominating full house to take the chip lead and send Kurashini out of the field. Sano dropped to 61k.
