31 left, new level double ups

There are 31 players remaining which means we are nearing the bubble with only 27 players into the money round. Blinds have gone up and the 500 pink chip has been removed from play.

Level 16 has begun and with it came some early shoves with one casualty. Aya Kagawa three-bet shove with 106k and was up against Gen Nose who had 80k. Nose won the double up with his K-Q on a board of 5-2-8-K-10 to overtake Kagawa’s 4-4. Kagawa dropped way down to 26k and busted out a few hands after.

Yuichi Sumida also doubled up but we didn’t see who paid him off. He had pocket sevens that found a triplet on the river.

30 players left.
