After getting severely crippled in a previous hand, William Kang was all in and faced Iori Yogo. Kang had Q 9 and Yogo had A K. The board ran A 9 4 J 8 and with that , Kang was out.


Three-way showdown, Sombero triples up

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

With a flop showing Q 9 5, William Kang checked to Michael Falcon who bet 1300. Next to act was Wally Sombero who called, but when it swung back to Kang, he check-raised to 4900. Falcon called and Sombero moved all in for a total of 13k. Kang followed and was all in as well for 14.5k. If that wasn’t enough, Falcon joined the party with his 17k chips. At the showdown,

Sombero A 8 for a nut flush draw

Kang Q 5 for two pairs

Falcon A K ace high

The turn of 7 kept Kang on top but with the river of 3, Sombero landed his flush and tripled up.

Wally Sombero is out in the field and like everyone out there, he is looking to get some chips sent in his direction. We caught him in a hand with a board of 6 8 4 on the felt and a 6k pot. The sb player bet 3700 and Sombero called. At the turn of 5, the sb bet 20k, and this was enough to get Sombero to fold.


Artis loses a chunk to Voytek

Big stack Mike Artis experienced a sizable shaving of his stack in a hand against Voytek Glab. It began with a raise to 700 by the utg player, Artis called, Glab three-bet to 2100, and he was called by both the utg and Artis. At the flop of 6 K 9, Voytek bet 3100, the utg folded, and Artis called. When the turn landed 7, both players checked. Then on the river of 4, Voytek slid out 5600, and after tanking for some time, Artis called. Voytek won the hand with a set holding K K.


Set of snowmen double up Mermelstein

Having just lost a pot against Yao Hui, Aaron Mermelstein was back in a hand, this time against Jun Javalera and Aso Seitaro. On a flop of J A 8, Seitaro bet 1300, Javalera called, Mermelstein shoved his 10k in the middle, Seitaro called, while Javalera folded. Seitaro had A Q for top pair but was behind Mermelstein’s 8 8 set. The turn of 10 and river of 7 were no help to Seitaro and Mermelstein doubled up.


Hui bets hard with ducks

After a back and forth preflop raise war, the pot grew to 6k, and the flop could finally be revealed. The dealer laid out 10 A 7. Yao Hui bet 1.5k an button player Aaron Mermelstein called. At the turn of 5, Hui checked to Mermelstein who bet 3k. Hui reacted with a shove, and Mermelstein snap-folded. Hui kindly revealed his pocket twos.


Flush over Flush, Bringley ahead

Gerard Bringley gains some chips back with a flush of his own. On a board of 6 Q 9, utg player checked to Bringley who bet 800. George Taylor called while the utg player raised to 3k. Bringley matched it up and Taylor folded. At the turn of 4, utg checked to Bringley who bet 3500. The utg jumped at it and moved all in with his 10.4k chips. Bringley called and at the showdown, the utg had 9 7 flush way behind Bringley’s A J flush. The river of 4 was of no consequence and Bringley scooped the pot while sending one to the rail.


Sayo rails Razavi

After losing several p0ts, Sam Razavi got all his chips in the middle (5k), and was quickly called by JC Sayo. Razavi had 8 6 and Sayo had pocket queens. The board bricked and Sayo eliminated Razavi.


Falcon doubles up Botho

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

It was a double up moment for Thong Botho in a hand against Michael Falcon. Though we missed how it began, we caught the action when the board was 10 7 4 Q and 9k already in the middle. Two players checked to Falcon who bet 5k. Acting next was Botho who pushed his 15.5k chips in the middle. With action returning to the players who checked, they folded, while Falcon called. At the showdown, Falcon had 4 2 for bottom pair and a flush draw while Botho had Q 10 for two pairs. The river of 10 sealed the deal for Botho who landed a full house. He doubled up.
