Sam Razavi went all in with over 50k on top of Dong Hyun Kim’s raise of 6500. Kim called and it was a coin toss with Razavi holding ace-king against Kim’s pocket eights. The board bricked and Kim eliminated Razavi.

Bringley eliminated by Gonzaga

Level: 16 Blinds: 1500-3000 Ante: 500

After Gerard Bringley’s loss to John Sayo, he looked for a spot to get all his chips in the middle and did so with Q 10 and was up against Terry Gonzaga with K J. Not only did the board run low but it also gave Gonzaga a flush of diamonds. Bringley was eliminated.

Raise war goes to Botho

Level: 16 Blinds: 1500-3000 Ante: 500

Action preflop began with John Sayo raising to 6500, re-raised to 15.5k by Lester Edoc, then a four-bet by Thong Botho all in. He won the pot without any further challenge as Sayo and Edoc folded.

Dementev doubles up through Razavi

Level: 16 Blinds: 1500-3000 Ante: 500

Sayo’s kicker plays, Bringley loses a big one

Level: 16 Blinds: 1500-3000 Ante: 500

On a turn board of A 4 6 4, it was an all in fest with John Sayo covered in chips by Gerard Bringley. Sayo had 7 4 and Bringley had 4 5. With both holding trips, the low river of 2 was not what Bringley wanted to see as it allowed for Sayo’s  kicker to play. Sayo doubled up and climbed to over 140k.
