APT Asian Series Manila 2013 Main Event

Bargfrede Ousts One

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

A player from the big blind bet 1,600 on a flop of 7 10 8 and Jon Bargfrede from mid-position called.

Another 3,100 bet from the BB player on the turn 2 and this time, Bargfrede responded with a 7,200 raise. But the BB player was willing to go all the way and shoved his final 5,000.

Easy call for Bargfrede who showed he had two pairs with 10 7 against the opponent on a flush and straight draw with A J.

No clubs or 9 on the river 10 which even added insult to injury as it filled Bargfrede’s boat, and eliminate another player from Day 1A

Troen decided he wanted more an re-raised to 3,500, which his opponent called to bring the river 2.

Nam Le is Here

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 0

Popular poker pro Nam Le joins the action in Day 1A and he just lost in one of his first hands…

Preflop, Le opened to 600 but saw an opponent– A.J. Brock re-pop it to 1,500. Le called to bring the flop 6 8 5 to the board.

Le checked his option but looks like Brock badly wants this one with a 2,000 bet… Enough to force Le out and take down the pot.
