Vietnam dominating Final 18, Tun Nguyen still leading

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – The last 18 players are now in a vicious battle to stay in the hunt for the VND2.7B (US$116,441) top prize in the APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh 2022 Main Event while the host nation is beginning to flex its muscles with Tun Nguyen still in command of the chip-lead at the Saigon Poker Club here.
 
Update: the field is down to 12 players and are now guaranteed VND195,820,000.00 (US$8,420.00).
 
Korea’s Yoo Bini was the first to exit among the 18, while Kento Takeuchi of Japan was the last bust-out at 13th place.
 
Players are on break. We are heading in to Level 27 with the blinds at 25,000/50,000 (BB ante 50,000).
