Today’s lineup: 24 return for Championships Event Day 3; Monster Stack & Deep Stack Turbo

We are at the penultimate day of the APT Korea Incheon Championships 2018 with nonstop poker festivities taking place at Paradise City. For today’s lineup we open with Championships Event Day 3 with 24 players hunting down a Final 8 seat.

Last night, Japan’s Hideki Izutsu powered past all the runners amassing the only seven-digit stack of 1,054,000. Izutsu may as well be in a bracket of his own with his nearest competitor New Zealand’s Tae Hoon Han sitting with 732,000. To round out the top three is Japan’s Tamon Nakamura with 477,000. Notable players also headed back to the floor are Hung Sheng Lin (317,000) and Hiroyuki Yoshimura (101,000).

The ₩1,650 buy-in Championships Event drew in 148 entries for a prize pool of ₩215,640,000. While a champion won’t emerge until tomorrow, it is the ₩49,7000 first prize that everyone will ultimately be gunning for.

Day 3 action resumes at Level 17 with blinds at 4000-8000 ante 8000. Average stack is 308,333 with 7,400,000 total chips in play. Cards in the air at 1pm. We will have live updates to bring you all the action.
