13:00: Event #3 – APT Japan Corp Main Event Warm Up
With the festival running during Japan’s Golden Week holiday, and over 100 Japanese nationals expected to attend, the first event we have today is the APT Japan Corp Main Event Warm Up. This event is open to everyone and is definitely one that must not be missed.
In addition to the cash prize and trophy, the eventual winner will receive a sweet bonus, a seat to the Main Event sponsored by the APT Japan Corp. Now that’s every reason to come out and join the action.
This Warm Up event is one of the most popular events in the APT roster with players getting an early taste of the Championships Event structure. The only difference is the interval between levels with blinds increasing every 30 minutes instead of 60 minutes. This is a scheduled two-day event. Buy-in is HKD 4,400.
13:30: Event #4 – Ladies of Poker
Though poker is highly dominated by male players, there are many women that not only love the game but are also very tough at the felt. At the APT, we continuously encourage women to play this mind sport and have offered a Ladies of Poker event to size up their skills against other women. So come on out and play ladies! We look forward to awarding the next APT Queen of Poker!
17:00: Satellite 2 – Main Event
Here we go, another chance at winning a seat to the Main Event for just a fraction of the price. For a lowly HKD 1,200 buy-in, you can turn that into a ticket to the HKD 2 Million Guaranteed prize pool. There are only four satellites offered to the Main Event so make it count. One seat will be awarded per ten entries.
