The Championships Event is equipped with one of the best structures in Asia. It is the second featured tournament of the tour. Starting stack is deep with slow escalating 60-minute blinds. By nighttime, poker on the felt switches to Darts Night at Jason’s Pub for the Dafabet Players Party. Plenty of fun in store with seats to Turbo events as prizes. Party starts at 10pm.

Kota Nakano bags the Short Deck High Rollers Single Day
With Short Deck now a mainstay in the APT roster, one of the events on offer was the Short Deck High Rollers Single Day for a buy-in of KRW 2,150,000. This dragged in 17 runners for a prize pool of KRW 32,980,000. Only three players saw a profit. Japan’s Kota Nakano claimed the largest chunk of KRW 18,799,000 for his victory.
This new Hold’em variation seems to be Nakano’s game having finished 4th at the Short Deck event the day prior. He has cashed in a total of three events at the series with the first one a 3rd place finish at the Pot Limit Omaha 2 event.

Bernard Park wins second title at No Limit Hold’em Single Day #2
We have a second multi winner at the series. The first one was Dicky Hang Tsang and now USA’s Bernard Park. Two days ago Park won the Pot Limit Omaha Hi 2; last night, he was awarded the No Limit Hold’em Single Day #2 title.
Park and runner-up New Zealand’s Ahn Mung Keun struck a heads up deal that split the top two cash prizes down the middle. With more chips, Park earned the win. The event drew 59 runners each one putting up the KRW 440,000 buy-in for a prize pool of KRW 22,892,000.
