Next month, the Asian Poker Tour heads out to the French territory of New Caledonia for the APT Noumea 2016! In our constant quest to explore new destinations, players can look forward to a ten day event at the Casino de Noumea running from November 15-24, 2016. There are Special APT player hotel rates available at the Le Meridian Noumea however reservations must be made by the end of October.
Here’s a quick look at what events to expect:
- The APT Noumea Main Event will run for five days starting on Saturday, November 19th until Thursday, November 24th with a one day break on Wednesday, November 23rd. There are two Day one flights offered. Buy-in is XPF 110,000 with unlimited re-entries until a specified time. There are Main Event Mega Satellites running daily leading up to the event. Buy-in is at XPF 13,200.
- On the roster are nine APT signature side events running throughout the festival with buy-ins ranging from XPF 23,000 – XPF 220,000. While most of the events are No Limit Hold’em tournaments, there are a couple of Pot Limit Omaha events also scheduled both with differing entry fees, one at XPF 55,000 and the other at XPF 33,000.
- Side events on the roster include the Head Hunter 10,000/Bounty, Deep Stack Turbo, Monster Stack, Freezeout, and Hyper Turbo.
- The High Rollers event has the largest buy-in of all the side events at XPF 220,000
For those planning to stay at the Le Meridien Noumea, it is highly advisable to start booking your hotel accommodations early. The special rates must be booked by the end of October.
