Side Events: “BoxeR” Yohwan Lim and Vincent Li win high rollers events

The past days had our headlines occupied with the Main Event. With the tournament now completed, we jump back to the APT Kick-Off Vietnam 2020 side events. Two heavy-hitter tournaments took place. The bigger pot was the Super High Rollers won by APT regular Yohwan Lim aka BoxeR. The other was the High Rollers Single Day 2 shipped by Vincent Li for his career fourth APT title. We’ve got the results below along with a brief recap.

Yohwan Lim wins the Super High Rollers

Two-time APT Championships Event winner Yohwan Lim aka BoxeR claimed the Super High Rollers, the largest buy-in event of the series. He defeated Minh Le at heads up to win his 7th career APT side event title.

Although only 9 signed up to the second High Rollers Single Day event, it was difficult reach to the throne. What with players such Soo Jo Kim, Yohwan Lim, Punnat Punsri, and Vincent Li at the table. The Korean pros Kim and Lim dominated the early action however in the end it was Vincent Kwun Ngai Li capturing the win.
