Tetsunori Saito wins the No Limit Hold’em Single Day
It was the rise of the short stacks at the No Limit Hold’em Single Day event with the top three finishers starting out the final 8 as the bottom three backed by 11 BB and less. Japan’s Tetsunori Saito bagged the win for his first ever APT title and pocketed a cool Php 328,000. Coming in runner up was the newly crowned APT Main Event champion Renniel Galvez whose luck ran out with K♥ 2♣ totally crushed by Saito’s J♦ J♥ 9♦ 5♠ 2♥. Takahiro Kidokoro wins the Super Deepstack Turbo, zooms to upper tier
After two prior cashes, Japanese player Takahiro Kidokoro clinched the Super Deepstack Turbo for his first ever APT win. Kidokoro eliminated Malaysia’s Neil Lawrence at heads up to lift the trophy and the Php 133,600 first prize. This also awarded him a sizable amount of points to zoom within the top 10 of the APT Player of the Series race.
