No Limit Hold’em: DUNG
The two-day No Limit Hold’em event drew 70 in at VND 9,900,000 each for a prize pool of VND 611,110,000 (~USD 26,270). The pot was divvied up by the top 12 finishers. Claiming the lion’s share of VND 172,770,000 (~USD 7,400) was Vietnam’s own Dung. He overcame a deficit at heads up by exposing Shin Jaewoong’s bluff to take the lead and close it out.

With three events to join on Friday, only 57 found their way to the VND 6,600,000 buy-in Deep Stack Turbo. Ten players earned a share of the VND 331,740,000 (~USD 14,200) prize pool. Pocketing the largest of VND 98,190,000 (~USD 4,200) was Vietnam’s Huynh Tan Dung aka Pegasus for his victory. This was his second career APT title.

Closing it out was a very familiar face in the the Asian circuit, Philippine player David Erquiaga. He earned VND 68,650,000 (~USD 2,900) for his victory.
