HomeThe Asian Poker Tour (APT) is thrilled to announce a venue change for the upcoming APT Philippines 2019 scheduled for September 11 to 22. The twelve-day festival will still be held at crowd favorite Resorts World Manila (RWM) in Pasay City. However, after holding tournaments at RWM’s Garden Wing in previous years, the upcoming APT Philippines 2019 will now be held at the 2nd floor of the integrated resort’s new Grand Wing. It is located adjacent to the newly-opened Sheraton Manila Hotel and Hilton Manila.
APT General Manager and Executive Tournament Director Lloyd Fontillas said they are very excited about the new venue as it has more gaming space, and new retail shops that would accommodate the influx of players who will attend the event.
“We will boost the number of tables to combine both the tournament and cash games,” Fontillas added.
The ground floor of RWM’s Grand Wing is already in operation and caters to the upscale table gaming market. The 2nd floor is expected to open this August. Once open, both wings will have a total of about 299 casino tables, and about 1,822 slot machines. Up to 35 tables at the RWM Grand Wing will be dedicated to APT Philippines 2019 event.

The upcoming APT Philippines 2019 is one of the most popular stops in the tour’s yearly lineup. At the first installment of the series held in late-April, it amassed a grand prize pool of USD 1.8 Million. The Main Event saw 503 entries to create a pot worth USD 471,000 while the Championships Event drew 316 entries for a pot of USD 443,000.
For this leg, expect plenty of money to be made with Php 24 Million (USD 469,000) in guaranteed prizes up for grabs. Events to mark down:
Main Event: September 13 to 17 – Php 55,000 buy-in – Php 10,000,000 guaranteed (featured)
Championships Event: September 18 to 22 – Php 82,500 buy-in – Php 10,000,000 guaranteed (featured)
Monster Stack 1: September 11 to 12 – Php 27,500 buy-in – Php 2,000,000 guaranteed (opener)
Monster Stack 2: September 21 to 22 – Php 27,500 buy-in – Php 2,000,000 guaranteed
There are 23 games on offer with buy-ins ranging from Php 5,500 to Php 107,500. Aside from the featured events, the side events include a variety of NLH formats both one day and two day, Short Deck, Pot Limit Omaha, and six High Rollers events:
