Another featured event in the books with APT circuit regular / Natural8 Ambassador Phachara Wongwichit shipping the PLO Championships! The Thai pro topped the 150-entry field, railroading the last three to collect $ 11,687.40. We have that story for you below including the results of all the games that completed in Day 8.

The inaugural APT Online Series is nearing its final day with only four remaining. The festival has been running on GG Network Natural8 since April 29 with the last of the games taking place on May 10. 42 players came out victorious, another 20 yet to be crowned. Days ago, the $ 1.57 million guarantee was crushed to bits. APT Player of the Series update

Featured: PLO Championships – Phachara Wongwichit – $ 11,687.40

The PLO Championships clocked in close to nine hours with two and a half of it dedicated entirely to the final table of six.To seize the title, Phachara W emptied out half the table. 

The money rolled out at 23 remaining when vetsforgo eliminated DONBEI on the bubble.

The first to bite the bullet was Shining whose two double ups still didn’t help rise any higher than 6th place. Shining doubled up Phachara W then fell to 888BENYA888. Similar situation with vetsforgo who also doubled up Phachara W before crashing to 888BENYA888. Jeff1010 doubled through 888BENYA888 then Phachara W claimed his first final table bust, booting out the crippled 888BENYA888. Not long after, it was heads up with Phachara W taking all of Langdon’s chips. 

The final hand soon arrived with Phachara W winning with a set of fives to two pair. This was Phachara’s first APT featured event victory. He will receive his APT Guardian Trophy in the mail to display alongside his two previously acquired APT Super High Rollers awards.

Another great turnout at the Monster Stack event with 549 entries across three flights. The largest was the early afternoon’s Flight C, attracting 295 fine runners. This amassed a combined total $ 153,994.50 prize pool. The final day saw 193 qualify with the money starting at 80th place. Three and a half hours in, Irish player Steven van ZZZZZZ won it for a pocketful $ 24,816.68.

Catching the action at five handed, it was Steven van ZZZZZZ and singo618 controlling the action. Steven van ZZZZZZ eliminated both Dostoevsky (Flight A chip leader) and Timo1993 then singo booted ni ma 66. After several hands played, a deal was reached. singo618 doubled up to take the lead, Steven van ZZZZZZ stole it back with pocket twos landing a set on the turn against pocket fours. The final hand was A 9 pair on the flop defeating K 10

Event 36: Pot Limit Omaha – PodPivkovich – $ 2,719.26

The Pot Limit Omaha drew a healthy 159 entries to nearly triple up the guarantee. After five hours, it was Russian player PodPivkovich with all the chips and the $ 2,719.26 first prize.

The final table had a familiar name Peleus34, known in the real world as Vincent Kwun Ngai Li. Peleus34 finished in 7th place. By three-handed, PodPivkovich was in command with over half the chips to play to battle with. PodPivkovich proceeded to rail Goldig to face LAMJON for the title. It didn’t take long to secure it, finishing LAMJON with trips to two pair.

Event 37: Progressive Bounty – omeroz01 – $ 8,658.59 

275 thundered in the Progressive Bounty event each one looking to slash heads to pick up those bounty rewards. After five hours of aggressive action, omeroz01 stood tall knocking out d0lores at heads up. omeroz01 earned $ 4,888.53 for the win plus $ 3,770.06 in bounties for a combined $ 8,658.59. omoeroz01 collected the highest number of bounties of all the players.

Following the action at the four handed, d0lores ran hot knocking out Nalra (4th) then Romyama1970 (3rd). At heads up, d0lores lost steam while omeroz01 capitalized. d0lores held on, banking a massive double up that crippled omeroz01 to 3 bbs. 

However, omeroz01 was not ready to go. omeroz01 doubled up then grinded back to health the take the lead and close it out.

The High Roller Turbo event drew the largest field of all the previous installments. 148 signed up to triple up the guarantee and more. After two previous final table appearances, kirrard28 was able to close it out for a large sum worth $ 14,571.92. This was the heftiest first prize paid out at a High Roller Turbo event. kirrard28 moved 39th to 11th in the leader board.

Event 39: NLH Turbo – AAFuxX – $ 2,593.32

Once again, the NLH Turbo was a hot item on the APT Online menu as 470 poured in. The $ 50 buy in was well worth it for many players, especially for DollarDollarBillYo who pocketed 66 times the buy in which was the biggest amount at the three-way deal.  Claiming the title and the trophy was AAFuxX for $ 2,593.32.

Catching the action at six-handed, DollarDollarBillYo went on a demolition spree eliminating three players in succession. This left three in the running with the leader DollarDollarBillYo backed by over half the chips in play. A deal was immediately discussed and agreed upon. From there, AAFuxX doubled up through MrOnurbs then took the rest to face DollarDollarBillYo for the win. AAFuxX climbed and climbed then nailed it shut.
