On deck: No Limit Hold’em 1, PLO High Rollers, and final day of the Warm Up with 14 remaining

We are on the third day of the APT Korea Seoul 2018 here in Paradise Casino at the Grand Walkerhill and today we will be awarding another trophy with the Main Event Warm Up due to conclude. While we await those results, we have two events lined up for all of you, the No Limit Hold’em 1 and the Pot Limit Omaha High Rollers. Here’s a brief rundown of those events:

No Limit Hold’em 1: This event gets started at 1pm. For a buy-in of KRW 550,000, players receive a 10,000 stack. Opening blinds are at 25-50, increasing every 30 minutes. Registration closes at the start of Level 7. This event is designed to run for two days.

PLO High Rollers: This event is a rarity in the APT schedule but demand has grown to offer it in some of our stops. Buy-in is KRW 1,100,000. Players begin with an 80,000 stack. Blinds increase every 40 minutes. This is a scheduled two-day event. Game time at 2pm.

Main Event Warm Up resumes with 14 players

Yesterday, the Main Event Warm Up drew in a total of 51 players for a prize pool of KRW 29,682,000. This has now become the largest pot of the series so far. 9 players are due a cut with the eventual winner scooping up the lion’s share KRW 9,062,000.

Today will see the final 14 players back on attack for the final race to victory however with the money bubble yet to burst, 5 of them will be leaving the game empty-handed. Leading the way is Eric Ahn with 319,000 in chips.He is followed by three players close together, Kelvin Beattie at 224,000, Grigorev Aleksandr also with 224,000, and Albert Paik with 222,000. For the latter Paik, he is a decorated Main Event champion having won the APT Korea Incheon 2017. We will have those results for you as soon as it wraps up.  

Main Event Mega Satellite: We also have a Main Event Mega Satellite running at 6pm. A total of three players have won seats via this route and you can too. Turn your KRW 120,000 into a seat worth KRW 1,100,000. One seat will be awarded per 10 players. Satellite winners will have to use their ticket on Day 1A, Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

MAIN EVENT

We are just a couple of days away from the start of our highlight tournament. The Main Event is the most prestigious event of the APT. It is a deep structured No Limit Hold’em tournament boasting of the best structure in the region. It is also the only event on the schedule where one can win the exclusive APT Championship Ring.

The Main Event runs for five days from June 19 to June 23, broken down as: Day 1A, Day 1B, Day 2, Day 3, and Final 8. Buy-in is KRW 1,100,000. Players begin with a deep 50,000 stack and opening blinds at 100-200. Blinds increase every 60 minutes.
