Oh Sumin survives all Korean Final 3, bags Event #3: 2-Day NLH

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – Three Koreans dominated the field in the APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Event #3, the first 2-Day NLH, with Oh Sumin walking away with the crown and 246,850,000.00 VND (US$10,614.00) at the Saigon Poker Club here.

Oh, a native of Pusan, Korea, outlasted third placer Kim Youngkwon and eventual Heads-Up opponent Roh Hyunseb in the first all-Korean affair to dispute a title here.

The clinching hand had Oh calling an All-In Pre-Flop (AIPF) shove from Roh who showed J9 off suit, two over cards to his Pocket 8s. The board did not improve Roh’s hand and Oh celebrated his triumph with the strong Korean contingent present.
