Nguyen Duc Bien bags Main Event Day 1A chip lead; 21 advance; High Rollers & Head Hunter resume tomorrow

After nine hours of action, the first heat of the APT Vietnam 2019 – MAIN EVENT – wrapped up with 21 players advancing out of the 50 entries. Three players crossed into the six-digit marker with Nguyen Duc Bien packing the largest stack of 125,000. Nguyen is trailed closely by Vincent Chauve with 121,100, and rounding out the top three was Nguyen Quy Bang with 113,700.

The Day 1A survivors have a two day break before returning to the race for Day 2. Within that time, there are two more Day 1 heats to cover (Day 1B and Day 1C) so come on over and secure your spot. Buy-in is VNd 22,000,000 (~USD 1,000) which gives you a chance at the handsome VND 8 Billion (~USD 345,500) guarantee. For latecomers, fence-sitters, and for those that missed the mark, registration will close at the start of Level 11 in Day 2.

High Rollers 1 review

Unable to run on opening day, the High Rollers 1 event was rescheduled for today and after a slight delay, the game finally got rolling. At the end of registration, 18 (10 uniques, 8 re-entries) ponied up the discounted VND 52,000,000 (~USD 2,250) buy-in to bring about a prize pool of VND 878,820,000 (~USD 38,000). Only the top three players were guaranteed a piece.
