Main Event registration remains open for one hour today; 106 advance to Day 2

After two starting days that produced a combined 181 Main Event entries, we move on to Day 2 here at the APT Korea Incheon Championships 2018 at Paradise City. 106 players advanced. Keep in mind that registration is still open for one hour today, so for all you late-comers and early bust outs, this is your last chance to get in.

Day 2 action begins at Level 9 with blinds at 300-600 ante 600. Registration closes at the start of Level 10. Buy-in is ₩1,100,000; starting stack at 25,000 which is roughly 40bbs. Blinds increase every 60 minutes. Another 8 rounds will be played before bagging up for the night.

Coming in with the largest artillery is Day 1B chip leader Kyung Min Lee with 143,700. Next in line is also from the same flight, Manami Hayamizu with 125,100. Among the players joining them are Day 1A leaders Soichiro Kojiya with 109,400 and Toshimasa Sakato with 109,300. Among the notable players is Kevin Song – WSOP bracelet winner aka the godfather of poker in Korea. He is just above starting stack with 27,400 in chips.

Side Events today

For players bumped out early at the main, we have a lot more poker games lined up. Three events will also heat up the floor:

14:00: No Limit Hold’em 1 – Buyin: ₩440,000

17:00: High Rollers Satellite – Buyin: ₩235,000 (one seat per 10 players)

18:00: Championships Event Satellite – Buyin: ₩180,000 (one seat per 10 players)
