Short stack Tchong back at it

Australian Michael Kue Seong Tchong has a long name and a short stack (18,575) when Day 2 started, now he has a long name and a bigger stack– above average now with 66,000 or so.

Another Australian in David Xin Zhao opened the betting to 3,600 but saw Stephen Chidwick re pop it to 8,000. Acting from the big blind, Tchong did more than what was asked to protect his BB: he shoved his stack worth roughly 28,000.

Zhao immediately threw away his hand but Chidwick, who’s one of our chip leaders spent some time in the tank. He would eventually call and we have an early showdown:

Tchong: K K
Chidwick: J J

The board ran out 4 Q 2 4 Q and Tchong gets the big double-up and survives the tournament.
