Nguyen Quang Huy hustled for a few pots with the first one against Macaron Tran awarding him 170k. On a board 5♠ 7♣ 3♠ 10♠ J♥, Nguyen bet 70k, Tran tanked then folded and showed A♦. Nguyen returned the gesture showing 10♦ pair.
The next hand saw a raised pot preflop and a board come 2♣ 8♦ 3♦. Utg player Hoang Thai Son c-bet 20k, Nguyen called, the turn was J♦. Action switched up with Hoang checking, Nguyen firing 35k, Hoang making the call. The river 7♠, both checked, Hoang won it with 9♣ 9♥. Hoang climbed to 400k while Nguyen dropped to 150k.
Third consecutive hand, Nguyen raised from utg to 13.5k and found two callers to the flop 8♥ 4♥ 5♦. He c-bet 20k and got one to see the turn J♣. Nguyen fired again with a 51.5k bet, this time no call to rake in the pot and climb back up to around 220k.
Catching the action as Ankit Jajodia was scooping up a sweet pot. He had J♣ J♠ full house on a board J♥ 7♥ 7♦ 9♦ 9♣, his opponent’s hand was already mucked. He chipped up to around 250k.
Chang Yong Suk got involved in three pots that sent his stack up and then emptying out. The first hand he three-bet Keigo Fujimoto then folded to a jam. On the subsequent hand, he won a big pot against Hajime Murase. The hand opened with utg player David Erquiaga raising to 9.5k, hijack Murase three-bet to 25k, cutoff Chang four bet to 61k, Erquiaga folded while Murase flat-called. On the flop 9♦ 7♥ 8♣, Murase checked, Chang shoved with a stack that covered Murase. Murase used a time-bank then folded.

Two hands later, Chang raised from mid-position, small blind Erquiaga three-bet to 38k, Chang called, the flop ran 9♦ 6♣ 9♥. Erquiaga c-bet 15k, Chang called. On the turn 10♠, Erquiaga checked, Chang bet 44k, Erquiaga shoved, this time Chang tanked. After a minute or so, Chang called and showed A♠ A♥, Erquiaga had 8♥ 9♠ trips, the river Q♣ didn’t help Chang to bust.
Erquiaga is now the chip leader with over 820K.
Preflop action saw utg Pham Tien Dung min-raise to 10k, button player Keith Ong shoved, Pham called.

The board ran A♠ 9♣ Q♦ 2♦ 4♠ for a double up to Ong to 155k. Pham dropped to 230k.
On a board A♦ 8♦ 8♥ 6♣ and 60k already brewed, small blind Pan Yue Feng bet 40k, button Rijad Hasani shoved, with less chips, Pan tanked then opted to risk it with A♠ K♦ two pair. When Hasani showed 10♣ 8♣ trips, Pan needed to pair up but the river 4♦ wasn’t the money card to bust. Hasani climbed to 350k.
Kicking off this round, Le Van Dien aka Kenny scored a lucky double up through Alex Lindop with A♣ 6♠ improving to a straight on the river 7♣ 4♥ 2♦ 8♠ 5♠ to beat A♥ Q♠. Half an hour later, he got lucky again for a double up through Dinh Duc Linh. The hand saw a flop A♠ 9♦ J♥, Kenny was all in with A♥ J♦ two pair, Dinh had A♣ K♦. The turn 3♥ and river 6♦ were not the outs for Dinh to send Kenny’s stack just over 300k. Dinh dropped to 200k.
From cutoff, Ankit Jajodia raised and got called by big blind Hasagi. Both players checed the flop K♠ Q♦ 5♥, but on the turn A♥, Jajodia c-bet 26k, got check-called by Hasagi. On the river 3♦, action checked again to Jajodia who jammed. Hasagi eventually called and lost with A♦ 4♦ top pair to Jajodia’s straight.
Catching the action as players were gasping at the turnout of the hand. It seemed Dinh Duc Linh 6♠ 6♥ was ahead of Teddy Pham A♦ A♠ on the flop Q♦ 6♣ 10♣ with a six spiked for a set but after the turn 10♦ the A♥ followed for Pham to jump back on top with a higher set. Dinh paid the double up and dropped to 370k, Pham chipped up to 310k.
Preflop action led to a flop 2♠ 8♣ 7♠. Two players with about equal stacks found themselves all in Anuphad Khong Dechudomkol 9♣ 9♠ and Nguyen Vu Huy who dominated with J♣ J♥. The turn 3♠ kept the jacks ahead but with the river 8♠ it was a flush for Dechudomkol to bank a big double up to 190k. In the process, Nguyen plummeted to just 7,500. He busted shortly after.
