Dinh Duc Linh will not be advancing to the final 8 as his pocket pair was outdrawn by Dang Duy Thanh. From utg+1 Dang min-raised to 80k, hijack Son Hoang called, then big blind Dinh Duc Linh jammed his 885k stack. Dang called to put Dinh at risk.

The board favored Dang as it felted 9♣ 2♠ 8♠ A♣ 6♣ for a higher pair spiked to oust Dinh in 9th place. Dinh earned VN₫ 189,950,000 (~US$ 8,173) for his strong finish.
From utg+2, Son Hoang raised to 60k and button Nguyen Van Sang called. No bets came on the flop 7♠ 2♣ K♣ but on the turn 8♥, Hoang led for 75k and Nguyen called. The river 4♠, Hoang continued with a larger 200k bet, Nguyen snap-called. Hoang reluctantly showed his A♣ J♠ hole cards, Nguyen won it with 5♥ 5♠. Hoang dropped to 1.6M, Nguyen chip leading with 2.1M.
After a couple of orbits was the first all in showdown. It opened with Jiang Yongbo raising to 60k, short stacked Rijad Hasani all in for 210k, Yongbo called.

With the board running 10♦ 6♠ 10♠ 10♣ 2♦, it was a full house for Hasani and a double up to 495k.
After losing several pots, Nguyen Van Sang picked up a couple. His first win was on the big blind. On a raised pot preflop that grew to 230k, he bet 100k on a flop 3♦ 5♣ 5♥ and small blind Dinh Duc Linh check-folded.
The next hand, Ankit Jajodia raised to 60k, two spots over on the button, Nguyen three-bet to 200k, Jajodia folded.
Nguyen Van Sang entered four pots and failed to win any of them. The first one he raised to 60k from utg, small blind Ankit Jajodia jammed, Nguyen folded.
On the next hand Dinh Duc Linh limped from the small blind, Nguyen checked, the flop ran 6♥ 8♣ 3♣. Dinh check-called Nguyen’s 30k bet. On the turn A♠ and river 8♦, no bets landed. Dinh had 4♥ 4♦ and won the pot. Nguyen showed his 3♥ bottom pair.
Two hands later, utg Jiang Yongbo raised to 60k, button Nguyen and big blind Dinh Tien Thanh called. At the flop 7♣ A♣ K♦, action was checked to Nguyen who slid out 125k, Dinh folded but Yongbo went the other direction and jammed. Fast fold by Nguyen.
Following that hand, Nguyen raised to 60k, Dang Duy Thanh three-bet to 175k, again a fast fold by Nguyen. He is down to 1.3M which is 3 BB above average stack.
Robert Kiss shoved with A♥ Q♥ and Tran Huy Hoang, who was just in the previous two pot, called with better A♠ K♣. When the board ran, a king showed up on the flop to ensure the win for Tran to catapult to 2.1M in chips. Kiss exited in 10th place, just missing the unofficial final table. He earned VN₫ 158,290,000 (~US$ 6,810) for his deep run.

Dinh Tien Thanh
The new round saw Tran Huy Hoang quickly drop in chips. He lost over 100k to Dang Duy Thanh then doubled up Dien Tien Thanh. During the shove, Dien had A♠ Q♠, Tran called with 8♦ 8♠, the board granted the queen as it ran 9♥ 6♠ Q♦ 4♣ 3♥. Dien climbed to 995k, Tran dropped to 1.2M.
On a raised pot preflop initiated by David Erquiaga, the flop ran J♠ 5♥ 7♣. Big blind position Tran Huy Hoang checked, Erquiaga c-bet 65k, Tran raised to 400k, Erquiaga jammed. Fast call by Tran who opened K♠ J♥ that bested Erquiaga’s J♦ 9♥ kicker. The turn 7♥ and river 4♦ offered no help to Erquiaga to leave in 11th place. He earned VN₫ 131,91,000 (~US$ 5,676) for his deep run. Tran climbed to 1.86M and is currently in the lead.
