In a battle for the blinds, bb Samad Razavi snap-called sb Sunny Zhang’s all in and it was a showdown with Razavi holding A 2 and Zhang with 8 5. With the board running 2 Q A, Razavi was looking good but with the turn of 5, Zhang caught up, and with the nutty river of 5, Zhang took the lead with trips and Razavi was out in 4th place.

Samad Razavi earns $8,700 for his great run at the Main Event.


Sunny Zhang picks up a couple

Sunny Zhang picked up a couple of blinds and antes when he shoved all in back-to-back.


David Steicke eliminated in 5th place by Huang (5th place – $7,200)

David Steicke’s day just ended at the hands of the chip leader Bryan Huang when he went all in on top of Huang’s raise and got quick-called. Steicke had A Q and Huang hand A K. The board ran 7 8 2 10 4, and with that , Steicke was eliminated in 5th place.

David Steicke goes home with $7,200 for his finish at the Main Event.


Erik Billgren railed in 6th place (6th place – $5,900)

Erik Billgren took his last stand by shoving all in with 161,000 chips. Right after him was the chip leader Bryan Huang who also announced all in which prevented anyone else from being involved in the hand. At the showdown, Huang had A A that was way ahead of Billgren’s A 6. The board bricked and Billgren was eliminated in 6th place.

Erik Billgren earns $5,900 for his great finish here at the Main Event.

Huang has escalated to over 1M chips.

It seems that Bryan Huang is on the hunt to take more chips from everyone’s stack. Having just taken from Sunny Zhang, he shifted his focus to Erik Billgren. Kwok wins a raise war

Huang shaving off Zhang’s towers

Having just won a pot against David Steicke, Bryan Huang (on the big blind) called a raise by Sunny Zhang of 27,000. At the flop of 7 5 K, statuesque Huang checked to Zhang who bet 35,000. Huang smooth-called. At the turn of A, Huang checked again and Zhang, like previous, bet again. Zhang slid out 50,000, and Huang quietly smooth-called. Then on the river of 4, Huang took the lead with a 110,000 bet and Zhang wasted no time folding.

Huang three-bets Steicke for the win

Sitting in the cutoff seat, David Steicke raised it up to 27,000 but on the big blind, Bryan Huang, laid out a stack amounting to 82,000. Steicke took a minute to decide then folded his hand to the three-bet.
