Premium hands – David Erquiaga bumps one

Level: 10 Blinds: 1000-1500 Ante: 1500

Fairly simple hand with all the chips out front preflop. David Erquiaga with aces, his opponent with A-K, board dropped a king on the flop but that was it. Erquiaga shipped it while railing one. Erquiaga up to 120k.


Xu Shueng wins three-way, Kong Seung Su pays

Level: 10 Blinds: 1000-1500 Ante: 1500

Five players limp, six player see the flop land 8 7 4. Three players check to hijack Hung Tu Wang who bets 7k. Shueng calls, Kong Seung Su raised to 21k. Wang and Shueng called. Turn comes 9 Su checks, Wang pushes (42k), Shueng pushes behind him (142k), both called by big-stacked Kong.

River comes Q. Shueng ships it with J 10 straight. He takes down the pot bringing his stack up close to 315k, well into leader status. Kong dropped to around 150k.


Frogman doubles through Tabucal

Level: 10 Blinds: 1000-1500 Ante: 1500

During the previous level, Day 2 entering chip leader Ivan Tabucal has been on a downward slip and proceeded to lost a big chunk to Frogman. The hand began with utg+1 Frogman raising, called by three players. At the flop 8 K 2, Frogman c-bet 6k and was called by only one player, Tabucal on the big blind. The turn A and river 5, action was the same with Tabucal check-calling a 38k bet and a 38k shove. Frogman showed A K, Tabucal with K 6.

Frogman rose to 130k, Tabucal dropped to 150k.
