Chip leader Chen Yazhou, Ken Foo Hsien Loong, and Christopher Mateo stared down a board J♣ Q♥ Q♣ 9♦ and a 70k pot. Loong bet 25k, Yazhou called, Mateo raised to 73k, Loong folded, Yazhou called. On the river 2♣ both checked it. Mateo showed K♠ Q♦ trips, Yazhou mucked and said he had A-K. Mateo up to 430k, Yazhou droped to 570k.
Two quick pots for Yuanchao Li. First one Masatoshi Arai raised to 14k, Li three-bet to 44k, Arai folded. Next winner saw Tobias Peters raise to 14k, Li three-bet to 54k, Peters folded.
Siyoung Lee raised to 14k preflop and found one caller in Ji Xiaoqian to the flop A♠ K♠ 6♣. Lee c-bet 12k, Ji called. On the turn 9♠, both checked. On the river 9♥, Lee fired 27k, Ji called. Lee showed 7♣ 8♣ bluff, Ji won it with 4♣ 4♠. Ji up to 475k.
One of the chip leaders, Siyoung Lee raised to 14k, sb Masatoshi Arai and bb Yuanchao Li called. The flop ran A♣ J♥ A♠, blinds checked to Lee who bet 14k, only Arai called. On the turn 10♦, Arai led for 20k, Lee called. On the river K♥, Arai bet 20k, this time Lee folded. Arai up to 290k.
A new player has jut zoomed to the upper rungs of the count. Kar Ooi Low is now at 780k after sending Tianhong Su out. The hand began with Tianhong raising to 13k, Kim called, Low three-bet to 35k, Tianhong and Kim called. On the flop 6♥ K♥ 10♦, Low c-bet 50k, both challengers called. On the turn J♥, Low jammed, Tianhong called for his tournament life, Kim folded.
