Aso Seitaro is now the massive chip leader after winning this big hand. It began with six players in on a raised pot preflop. The board ran 9♦ J♦ 5♠ with action checked by the sb player. Next up was Seitaro who bet 6k, called by Kongi Su, and after several players folded, the sb player check-raised all in for an additional 35,525 on top. Both Seitaro and Su made the huge call and the dealer turned over 8♠. Seitaro immediately shoved with his remaining 24,600 chips and Su called for a big side pot generated. At the three-way showdown Seitaro had 10♦ 7♦ straight, sb had 5♣ 5♦ set, and Su had A♦ 6♦ flush draw. The river of 6♠ kept Seitaro way ahead and he shipped it all in zooming to around 180k chips.

When action moved to Victor Chong on the button, he raised to 2500, and everyone called including the big blind player. At the flop of K♥ J♦ 4♥, action checked to Seitaro who sent out a 6800 bet. Chong called while all others bowed out. On the turn of 5♥, Seitaro bet an aggressive 11,500, and with that, Chong folded. Seitaro showed his A♥ 6♥ nut flush then scooped up a nice big pile.

Ji Young Kim, one of the final tableists in our Cebu leg, battled for a pot against Tetsuya Tsuchikawa. On a flop of 10♥ 9♠ 2♥, she bet 1700 and Tsuchikawa called. On the turn of 6♠ and river of 7♠, both players kept the pot light with no additional bets and despite missing the board, Kim won with her K♦ Q♠ as Tsuchikawa mucked.

On the flop of J♥ 4♥ 10♦, utg checked, Enriquez bet 2300, Lee called, and utg folded. It was now a showdown with the turn landing 8♥. Enriquez checked then called Lee’s bet of 3600. The final card of of 8♣ had Enriquez check once more, Lee bet 6k, and Enriquez matching it up. Lee had A♥ J♠ for a good two pair, but Kim had Q♦ 8♦ for trips.

This was a very tough moment for Gyeong Byeong Lee who began the hand with a raise to 800. Action moved around the table finding four callers to join him to see a flop of Q♦ 4♠ 7♥. Taking the reins, Lee bet 1500, was called by Victor Chong, however Kongi Su raised to make it 3k. Only Lee and Chong called and it was down to three-way action. The turn of 5♥ had Lee and Chong back up to a check giving Su the driver’s seat. Seu bet 6k and Lee called but now Chong check-raised putting up 16.2k on the table. While this had Su folding, Lee struggled. He tanked for quite some time and eventually gave up his hand showing K♣ K♠.
