Jiwoon Kim is the overwhelming big stack at the table with over double the average stack nearing 2M in chips. He’s been quite active, getting involved in numerous pots. We saw him up against Andy Li Xueyan a couple of times and another against Iori Yogo. Here is how he fared.
Xueyan raised to 45k, Kazuto Sato called, Kim re-raised to 165k, Xueyan shoved, Kim folded. On the next encounter, Kim raised to 45k, Xueyan called. The flop ran 2♠ J♥ 7♥, Xueyan checked, Kim bet 35k, Xueyan called. On the 10♣ turn, both checked. On the 8♦ river, Xueyan checked, Kim fired out 100k, Xueyan folded.
In Kim’s recent hand against Yogo, he called a raise of 50k preflop and the flop ran J♥ 4♣ 5♥. Yogo checked, Kim bet 40k, and Yogo called. On the J♣ turn there were no bets but on the J♠ river, it was back on with Yogo sending out 90k. Kim folded. Yogo now well over 1M.
