On the river of 8♦, Lee bet 2500 and Hwan flat-called. Lee had J♦ 10♦ for a missed straight, and Hwan won the hand with his Q♥ 10♥ two pairs.
Three players, SJ Kim, Kai Paulsen and Daniel Lim looked down at a board of 8♥ 2♦ 3♦ 7♦. With a pot of 3.5k already in the center, Lim and Kim checked to Paulsen who laid out 2k. He was called by both and the river of 5♣ was felted. Lim acted out and slid 3800 in the middle, Kim folded, and Paulsen moved all in for 14,400. Lim tanked for some time and eventually called. Paulsen won a hefty pot with his A♦ 4♦ nut flush.
Too bad we missed the action because Sungchang Park won a big pot of around 12k against Sebastian Benz. On a completed board of 6♥ J♥ 10♦ 5♣ 9♣, Benz checked to Park who bet 5650, nearly half the pot. Benz folded and Park asked Benz if he wanted to see his hand, Benz said yes and Park showed his K♥ 8♥ missed flush draw.
With around 3k already in the pot and a board of 10♣ Q♠ 6♠ A♦ spread out, Andrei Dementev checked to Sungchang Park who bet 1250. Michael Falcon called, Dementev check-raised to 3500, and won the hand with no challenge.
Alpheus Chan just arrived at the table and shortly after he was in a hand against Simba. Kicking off the action was Simba with a raise to 150. Cutoff man called, sb player called, but Chan on the big blind raised to 850. Everyone called. At the flop of Q♠ 10♣ 4♥, the sb checked to Chan who bet 1500. Simba called, cutoff folded, and the sb called. The turn of 6♦ had everyone check, and the same on the river of A♠. Chan won the hand with his pocket kings.
With raised pot preflop and a board of 2♦ Q♥ 8♦, Ed Silvano bet 325. Byeongcheol Kim raised to 850 and sent the action back to Silvano who went over the top with a 3925 raise. Byeongcheol called and the dealer revealed the 7♦ turn card. Silvano banged out 4250 and Byeongcheol shoved. Silvano opted to fold. Byeongcheol now has 40k.
With a raised pot preflop, three plalyers were in a hand with the flop showing K♦ 8♦ A♣. Lito Quijano checked to Sungchang Park who bet 500. The hijack player called while Quijano check-raised to 1600. Seeing his bet challenged, Park pumped it up even higher to make it 5k. This was enough to get a fold from the hijack player but Quijano called. On the turn of 2♦, both cautiously checked to each other, and the same on the river of 9♠. Quijano had K♠ 8♠ two pairs but Park had better, A♠ 8♥ for higher two pairs.
