Catching the action on the river, the board showed 4 2 7 10 2 with around 1800 already in the pot. Javalera bet 1000 and button player Yohn Paredes called. Javalera had A Q and Paredes had 3 3. What a call!

Javalera loses a couple of early pots

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

Jun Javalera is always an active player at the felt and he likes to get in early while the blinds are still at their lowest. Most often, he wins some big pots early, however from what we’ve seen, he has just lost two pots. In the first one, he raised from the button and was called by the big blind. At the flop of 6 A 4, the bb checked to Javalera who bet 250. He was called. At the turn of 9, action was the same with Javalera betting 300, and getting called. Then on the river of Q, the bb player changed it up and led out for 850. Javalera called then mucked when he saw the K 3 flush.

Several hands later, Javalera lost another pot, this time with his ace-ten losing to a player’s ace-six on a board that ran Q-A-6-8-7 for two pairs.

Despite the losses, Javalera still has a very healthy stack.

Casey’s full house gets paid

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

On a board of 5 7 3 3 9 and a pot between 6-7k in the middle, Michael Falcon checked, a mid-position player checked, Gerald Casey bet 6k which was enough for Falcon to fold to however for the mp player, this sent him tanking. He eventually called and mucked when he saw Casey’s full house with 9 9.

Hyungki Kim wins with early aggression

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

A bit of action already happening at the felt. At one of the tables, an early position player raised to 125, was three-bet to 325 by Hyungki Kim, and was called by the initial raiser. At the flop 6 4 Q, action kicked off with a 400 bet that was raised to 1000 by Kim. This was enough to scoop the pot.
