Lim Yo Hwan was all in with 43.5k chips and big-stacked Seung Soo Jeon called. Hwan had Q♠ Q♥ and Jeon had A♦ J♠. The board ran A♣ 7♣ 8♦ J♣ 5♥ and with Jeon landing a higher pair, Hwan was out in 17th place. He collects P120,000 for his finish.
Bell John Perez came in as one of the shortest stacks and managed to stay in the field until the money stage was reached. Hoping to double up and extend his stay, he had to get past Byeongcheol Kim who called his all in. Perez had 10♣ 10♦ and Kim had A♦ Q♠. The board rand A♠ 8♥ 9♠ A♣ 3♦ and Perez was out in 18th. He earned P120,000 for his finish.
Nick Blackburn is working the felt well to gain some chips. In a hand against Thong Botho, he called a raise by Botho of 9500 and they went to see a flop land 7♥ A♦ 8♣. Blackburn checked, Botho bet 13.5k, and Blackburn called. At the turn of 5♠, it was check-check. On the river of 8♠, Blackburn kicked it off with a 13.5k bet, Botho flat-called, and Blackburn won with his A♥ Q♠ top pair.

The bubble has burst and it was SJ Kim who had an earlier bout against Dong Hyun Kim that left him with an ailing stack. In his final hand, SJ moved all in on top of Julius Malzanini’s raise of 8k and it was a showdown.

Simba raised to 10k preflop, big-stacked Seung Soo Jeon re-raised to 27k, and Simba shoved with around 160k. Jeon folded.
Battle of the big stacks… Dong Hyun Kim raised to 9k and Julius Malzanini called. At the flop of 5♠ 9♥ J♣, Malzanini checked to Kim who bet 12.5k. Malzanini called. On the turn of J♥, Malzanini led out for 18k and this time it reversed with Kim calling. The river of 10♠ had Malzanini betting 53k and Kim flat-called. Malzanini opened up K♦ Q♦ for a straight on the river. Kim mucked.
