The turn of 2♠ had both players checking. Then on the river of J♣, Malzanini bet 5175 and Simba called. Malzanini had K♦ K♣ for a winning hand against Simba’s Q♦ Q♥.
Action began with Vladimir Geshkenbein raising to 700 and getting called by two players, the button and Jim Bonanno. At the flop of J♦ J♠ 3♠, Bonanno bet 8k and that was it. No callers.
On a flop of 3♠ 7♠[9d}, Kenneth Buck bet 2500 then matched up the raise to 5800 from Vladimir Geshkenbein. At the turn of 2♥, Buck checked to Geshkenbein who bet 5k. Buck called again. On the river of J♥, Buck checked once more then called Geshkenbein’s all in for 5525. Geshkenbein earned a double up with his K♥ K♦ against Buck’s Q♠ J♠.
Catching the action at the turn, 6♣ 9♠ K♠ 5♣, William Kang checked to Julius Malzanini who bet 3800. Edison Marzan and Kang called and they went to see the river land Q♦. Kang went all in, Malzanini went all in, and Marzan decided to fold up. Malzanini showed his J♣ 10♣ straight. Kang mucked and packed up to leave the field.
The flop was already on display 3♥ J♦ K♦. Richard Marquez checked to the utg player who bet 1700. John Tech called and back to Marquez who called as well. At the turn of Q♥, Marquez resumed checking, utg bet 5500, then Tech went all in for 21k. Marquez followed suit with his 8325 chips while the utg backed down. Tech had 10♥ 9♥ for a straight while Marquez had K♥ 7♥ for top pair and a flush draw. The river of 7♣ was not what Marquez needed and he was ousted from the field.
With just a small preflop raise, the dealer felted 9♥ 7♥ 6♣. Action ensued with a betting war between Delos Reyes and Aaron Mermelstein. This eventually led to Delos Reyes all in and Mermelstein calling her down. Delos Reyes had 9♠ 8♣ for top pair and a straight draw against Mermelstein’s 9♦ 6♠ two pairs. The turn of J♥ and river of 6♦ improved Mermelstein to a full house and he eliminated her from the field.
We’ve seen William Kang go all in several times today, and on a board of 5♠ A♠ J♦ 4♠ 4♥ he reached that result. It began with him checking at the turn to Andrei Dementev who bet 1675. Kang called. On the river, Kang went all in. Dementev folded. No double up but still a victory.
On a flop of 8♠ A♥ 9♥, Hyungtaek Jo bet 1100 and Edison Marzan made the call. At the turn of 10♠, Jo bet again, this time double his previous bet to 2200. Marzan kept up with him and called. On the river of 8♣, Jo decided to check, Marzan bet 3k, and Jo called. Marzan opened up A♦ K♠ and Jo mucked. Several hands later, they faced each other again and Marzan eliminated Jo with a straight.
The hand began with Jacob Dy limping in, followed by a raise to 800 by Slaven Popov. Olivier Duran called and so did Dy. At the flop of Q♠ Q♦ J♦, they all checked to get a free turn card of K♠. Action began with Dy who checked. Popov next bet 1650, Duran called, and Dy got out of the mix. On the river of 3♥, Duran initiated the betting dumping 2k in the pot. Popov raised to 5500 which sent Duran to the tank. After a bit of mishap with his concentration, Duran folded.
