Lubas avoids overcards and doubles up through Seng

The hand began with a raise by Jay Lubas, a three by Wee Chyuan Seng, then an all in by Lubas. Seng called and it was a showdown. Seng had A K and Lubas had J J. The board bricked and Lubas doubled up.


Labadan earns a pot

After folding to the shoves on the previous hand, Jun Labadan raised to 900 and was called by both Byeongcheol Kim and Seung Soo Jeon. The board ran 8 Q A, and after betting 2250, Labadan won the pot without a challenge.


A heated table doubles up Hii

Lots of preflop craziness during this hand. It began with Jay Lubas raising to 1k preflop which was called by Jun Labadan. Down the table was Kevin Hii who moved all in with 10.2K, then Byeongcheol Kim followed suit and shoved as well. As intended, Kim’s all in pushed Lubas and Labadan out of the pot, isolating Hii. At the showdown, Hii had A Q and Kim had A K. The board ran K J 10 2 6, giving Hii a straight and the double up he needed.

Seng doubles up through Byeongcheol Kim

Action began with Wee Chyuan Seng raising to 700 preflop. He was raised to 2100 by Kevin Hii, and when it reached Byeongcheol Kim, he four-bet to 6300. Seng was not going anywhere and he shoved his 18,175 chips. Hii folded and Kim called. Seng had K K and Kim had Q Q. The board ran J 2 3 10 J, and with that, Seng doubled up.


Buck happily doubles up

Kenneth Buck was all in against Edison Marzan on a flop that had two clubs in it. Buck had A 4 and was hoping for a club to complete his flush but the dealer felted an ace on the river which was also good enough for a double up.


Intense hand between Paulsen and De Leon

Level: 6 Blinds: 150-300 Ante: 25

Catching the hand at the flop of J 5 4, Kai Paulsen bet 1800 and Mike De Leon called. On the turn of A, both players quietly checked to each other to get a free river of J. Acting first, De Leon bet 5150 but was raised to 10,300 by Paulsen. This sent De Leon to the tank. After a minute or two, he relinquished his hand. Paulsen showed one card K.

 


Falcon check-raises for the pot

Michael Kim Falcon is back at the felt for another attempt at qualifying. In a hand that began with Yah Loon raising to 700, he was called by a mid position player and Falcon. At the flop of 6 8 3, Falcon checked to Loon who bet 1300. The mp player called but when it swung back to Falcon, he raised to 3300. Falcon won the pot without getting called.


Byeongcheol Kim ousts with higher kicker on a quads board

Seems like it is time for the short stacks to start pushing for a double up. In this hand, a player with around 2k was all in and Byeongcheol Kim called. Kim had A 8 against Q J. The board ran 5 5 5 5 Q giving Kim the win with the higher kicker.
