Gonzaga answers back with a shove

Terry Gonzaga just lost a pot to Thong Botho but earned back a little when he shoved his 98k stack on top of Julius Malzanini’s 22k raise. Malzanini folded.


Botho scoops a good one with two pairs

Chip leader Thong Botho faced off with the shortest stack Terry Gonzaga. It began with Gonzaga raising to 23k from the utg seat and Botho calling. At the flop of K A 8, Gonzaga led for 34k and Botho called. On the turn of J both players slowed to a check and the dealer opened up the last card, Q. Gonzaga took first action and bet 48k. After some thought, Botho called. Gonzaga had A 3 for top pair but not good enough against Botho’s K Q two pairs.


Three-bet pot for Malzanini

Dong Hyun Kim kicked off with a raise to 22k but was three-bet by Julius Malzanini to 62k on the big blind. Kim folded.


Small pot for the chip leader

Level: 21 Blinds: 5000-10000 Ante: 1000

Chip leader Thong Botho raised to 23k preflop and got a caller in the big blind Dong Hyun Kim. At the flop of A 6 A, Kim checked to the raiser Botho who bet 18k, and that was the end of the hand as Kim folded.


Gonzaga earns one against Jeon

Terry Gonzaga started the day as the shortest stack but he is getting involved in the action to bring him up little by little. He raised to 23k from the hijack seat and was called by Seung Soo Jeon on the cutoff seat. At the flop of 8 4 3, he continued and bet 32k. He won the pot with Jeon folding.


Tsuchkawa wins another, takes from Malzanini

Level: 21 Blinds: 5000-10000 Ante: 1000

Julius Malzanini joined the action at the final table with a raise to 23k. He was called by Tetsuya Tsuchikawa and the dealer laid the flop of A 3 10. Both players checked, and as well on the turn of J but on the river of 8, Tsuchikawa took the reins and bet 30k which was enough to take the pot as Malzanini folded.


Bonanno picks one up

Jim Bonanno raised up this hand to 29k and found one caller, Dong Hyun Kim. The flop of 6 8 10 had BOnanno bet 46k and Kim gave up the challenge. Bonanno showed his K J.


No callers for the chip leader

Thong Botho got himself in the action with a raise to 17k preflop. Unfortunately no callers for him and he took the blinds and the antes.


Kim gets some back from Tshuchikawa

Lots of action early at the final table with the fourth hand kicked off with a raise to 17k by Tetsuya Tsuchikawa. Small blind player Byeongcheol Kim and big blind player Terry Gonzaga called. At the flop of K 2 K, the blinds checked to the raiser Tsuchikawa who bet 16k. Kim called and Gonzaga folded. The turn of 7 and river of 8 had both players checking and Kim won the hand with 3 3 as Tsuchikawa mucked.
